Driving Directions

from NYC or Long Island

I-95 or Merritt Parkway to Route 7 in Norwalk. Follow Route 7 north through Wilton (approximately 12 miles) to traffic light and intersection with Route 107. Turn right onto Route 107 North, and follow for 6.2 miles (see note below). Highstead is the second driveway on the left beyond the Redding Country Club.

from Westchester or route 684

East on route 35 to Main Street in Ridgefield. Turn left, briefly following route 35 to intersection with route 102. Turn right onto route 102 and follow out to route 7. Turn right onto route 7 south to traffic light and intersection with route 107. Turn left onto route 107 north, and follow for 6.2 miles (see note below). Highstead is the second driveway on the left beyond the Redding Country Club.

from New York State via route 84

Take exit 3 at Danbury to route 7 south and travel to traffic light and intersection with route 107. Turn left onto route 107 north, and follow for 6.2 miles (see note below). Highstead is the second driveway on the left beyond the Redding Country Club.

Route 107 intersects with route 53. At this three-way stop you will be making a left turn (more proceeding straight than a left turn), and then continuing 100 yards to next three-way stop. At this second stop sign make a right turn to continue on route 107. Approximately one mile past this point you will pass the Redding Nursery. The road curves and forks: stay to the left to continue on route 107.

from Hartford

West on route 84 to exit 10. Turn right at end of ramp onto Church Hill Road. Continue to the top of the hill where there is a large flagpole marking the intersection with route 25. Turn left onto route 25 south and follow for one-eighth mile to traffic light and junction with route 302. Turn right onto route 302. Follow 302 to the intersection with route 58 (6.3 miles, third traffic light). Turn left onto route 58 south, and continue to the junction with route 107 at Putnam Park. Turn right onto route 107. At stop sign, turn left to continue on route 107 which becomes Lonetown Road. Highstead is the second driveway on the right.

from New Haven

I-95 south to exit 38 (connector to Merritt Parkway). Follow Merritt Parkway south to exit 44 in Fairfield (make a left hand turn from the right lane at the bottom of the ramp). Turn right onto route 58 north. Follow route 58 north for approximately 10 miles to four-way stop (Black Rock Tpke, Church Hill Road, and Cross Hwy). Turn left onto Cross Highway. Go to second stop sign. Follow signs to route 107 north. Turn right onto route 107. Follow route 107 approximately one mile to Highstead. Highstead is the second driveway on the left beyond the Redding Country Club.
