Explore the Highstead landscape and learn about the monarch butterfly's plight and other native fauna, including butterflies and moths, with Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History Curatorial Affiliate Victor DeMasi, a lepidopterist. DeMasi will discuss trends in Connecticut’s butterfly population and how to attract butterflies to your backyard. Specimens from the Peabody Museum’s butterfly collection will be on display. Please meet promptly at 10 a.m. at the Highstead Barn.
