Gabby Rodia recently graduated from Boston College with a bachelor of arts in environmental studies. She has loved nature from an early age. Growing up in Connecticut, she had easy access to the shore and became obsessed with the beach. Her interest in the environment was heightened in school where she studied marine science and learned about the interconnectedness of all life. Experiences working with horseshoe crabs for Project Limulus and as an intern for a local town government solidified her passion for both marine life and the importance of policy and governance for environmental protection. She believes that conservation is one of the most valuable ways to protect our planet’s biodiversity and is eager to begin her post-graduate work and contribute to the betterment of our environment at Highstead.
